The National Healthcare Service provides a comprehensive range of health services, the vast majority of which are free at the point of use for people legally resident in the United Kingdom.
KIDS is a disabled children’s charity that works with children and young people from birth to the age of 25 who are disabled as well as with the individuals who are affected by this situation (such as families and young carers).
ACCI is a holistic and comprehensive support service for the African Caribbeans affected by mental ill health. Their services include supported housing and advice, day opportunities facilities and specialist outreach. They also provide an extensive and holistic counselling and therapeutic service and facilitate a dedicated and proactive Carers’ Support Group.

Samaritans is a charity that supports anyone in distress, around the clock by offering counselling and helping people explore their options to make the right decisions.
Family Lives is a charity helping parents to deal with the changes that are a constant part of family life. Their role is to support all parents and carers to achieve the best relationship possible with the children that they care about, as well as supporting parenting professionals.
Understanding Drug Abuse and Addiction
It is not uncommon for people to experience some form of verbal bullying (being called names or insulted) at some point in their lives.
The National Bullying Helpline was the brainchild of Christine Pratt and her husband David - who also run a successful HR Consultancy. Today, the helpline is a privately run, nationally recognised, advice centre specialising in conflict whether that conflict is in the home, the community, the school or workplace.
Their cyberbullying advice line is open to anyone worried about cyberbullying or online harassment - from anywhere in the world.
The Teenage Parents Project works with young parents aged 16-25 years, and their children aged 0-4. They provide practical, emotional and mentoring support and raise awareness and aspirations through education and training. They have an Ofsted Crèche adjoined to all their services.
The Gingerbread Single Parent Helpline provides support and expert advice on anything from dealing with a break-up, to going back to work or sorting out maintenance, benefit or tax credit issues. Their friendly advisers will talk through your options and will send you useful information. Your call is confidential.
